A simple treatment of a polypyrrole (PPy) film with sodium hydroxide (NaOH) solutions reduces the conductivity (i.e., increased the resistance) and makes the film heat sensitive in the infrared (IR) spectrum with wavelength from 2.5 to 15.4 μm. The IR sensitivity increases with increasing treatment time in NaOH solutions and increasing exposed area to the radiation. The temperature coefficient of resistance, α, quantifying the sensitivity to IR, of the NaOH‐treated PPy is comparable with that of silicon and other conventional materials. The reduction and recovery of resistance due to IR on/off exposure exhibit a tβ dependence, where t is the time and β is determined to be around 0.5. This implies that the response of the material is controlled by diffusion of heat flux into and out of the sample. It is also observed that thermal ageing of the NaOH‐treated PPy film enhances the IR sensitivity. The sensing response of the treated films is observed beyond the thermal IR region to ultraviolet–visible wavelengths. In this paper, rate 1/p binary systematic quasi-cyclic (QC) codes are constructed based on Matroid Theory (MT). The relationship between the generator matrix and minimum distance d is derived through MT, which is benefit to find numbers of QC codes with large minimum distance by our Matroid search algorithm. More than seventy of QC codes that extend previously published results are presented. Among these codes, there are nine codes whose minimum distance is larger than those of the known codes found by Gulliver et al.  相似文献

The present study was carried out to develop an analytical method for the detection and quantification of bistrifluron, a benzoylphenylurea compound, in pear using high‐performance liquid chromatography with UV detection. Samples were extracted using conventional, AOAC and EN quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged and safe ‘QuEChERS’ methods. As expected, conventional and EN‐QuEChERS methods gave higher recoveries than AOAC. In addition, interference around the analyte retention time was observed in the conventional method. Thus, the EN‐QuEChERS method was selected and validated by studying various parameters, including linearity, limit of detection, limit of quantification (LOQ), recovery and precision. Linearity was excellent, with a correlation coefficient of 0.9998. Recovery rates at three spiking levels (0.05, 0.2 and 1 mg/kg) ranged from 73.76 to 98.66%. Intra‐ and inter‐day precisions, expressed as relative standard deviations, were <6%. The LOQ of 0.05 mg/kg was considerably lower than the maximum residue limit (1 mg/kg) set by the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. The developed method was successfully applied to open‐field pear samples, in which the target analyte was slowly dissipated (55% decline) over 14 days with a half‐life of 10.19 days. Notably, the residue levels throughout the period of sample collection (14 days) were lower than the maximum residue limit, indicating that the residue was not hazardous for consumers. Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a fatal neurodegenerative disease affecting approximately 26 million people world-wide, and the number is increasing as life expectancy increases. Since the only reliable diagnosis for the pathology is histochemical post-mortem examination, there is a rather urgent need for reliable, sensitive and quick detection techniques. Rheology and adsorption studies are performed on a model multicomponent system of hydrophobically modified cellulose (hmHEC), anionic surfactant (SDS), and negatively charged silica. Optical reflectometry measurements on silica quantify the total adsorbed mass from polymer-surfactant mixtures and indicate that the adsorption is irreversible. Linear and nonlinear rheological measurements show that the addition of colloidal silica to polymer-surfactant mixtures leads to complex and unexpected changes in behavior that cannot be explained simply as depletion of the bulk solution via adsorption to the colloidal surface. Instead, the combination of rheology and adsorption measurements indicates that the colloidal silica becomes an integral part of the transient network shifting the dynamics of the system.  相似文献
